Our Story

A small kitchen with long memory.

Interior of Xin's Chinese Cuisine

Xin's is a family restaurant on Buford Highway. We came from the north of China, and we cook the food we grew up eating — spicy pots, cumin lamb, and dumplings folded by hand every morning.

We temper our own chili oil, roll our own wrappers, and cook every spicy pot to order. Nothing sits under a heat lamp. The dining room is small — twenty-something seats — because we'd rather cook well than cook a lot.

Come hungry, sit down, order a whole fish or a dry pot for the table. Refills on white rice are on us.

We're proud of what regulars say.

"I came here so many times when I was living in Atlanta — I practically had the entire menu memorized. Truly authentic Northern Chinese cuisine."
